  1. Who we are. Matthew Machmud (ABN 40 394 629 030), based in Australia. Contact: build@matthewmachmud.com.
  2. What we collect. When you email us, we receive your name, email address and whatever you choose to tell us about your business. If you become a client, we also hold contract, invoice and payment details, and the business information you share during the engagement.
  3. What the website collects. The enquiry form on this site does not send or store anything itself: it opens your own email app with your message ready to send to us. The site has no analytics or advertising trackers and sets no tracking cookies. Our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps standard technical logs, such as IP address and browser type, for security and reliability. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the page loads.
  4. Why we use it. To reply to your enquiry, arrange and deliver our services, invoice you, and meet our legal and tax obligations. We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising.
  5. Client information. Business information shared during an engagement is confidential and handled under our engagement terms and any confidentiality agreement. Where possible it stays in your own accounts and systems.
  6. AI tools. We use business-grade AI services with model training on customer data switched off. We don’t put your personal or confidential information into consumer AI tools.
  7. Who we share it with. Only service providers we need to run the business (email, hosting, accounting, payments) and trusted specialists working on your project under confidentiality obligations, or where the law requires it. Some providers store data outside your country, including in the United States.
  8. How long we keep it. Enquiries that don’t lead to work: up to 2 years. Client and financial records: as long as Australian tax law requires, currently 5 years.
  9. Your choices. You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing build@matthewmachmud.com. We’ll reply within 30 days.
  10. Complaints. Contact us first. If you’re in Australia and unhappy with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
